Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress well known for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. In the same year, she released Her first album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Her first appearance in Hollywood was when she played Griselda on God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 drama. It received wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. As an undergraduate in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. In 1964, she signed to CBS as a character, Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to move between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character against her famous image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's made a name as a producer on a variety of popular TV shows like Supernatural. She was born on August 28, 1965 in Essex. As a young girl, 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto which is where she spent the majority of her childhood. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
