Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th, 1964, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. Suzy Kolber, who is now around 58. Sandra Kolber, her mother is named. Gene Kolber, is the father. She attended Sandy Run Middle School Dresher Pennsylvania. In 1986 she graduated with an undergraduate degree in Arts with a telecommunications concentration from University of Miami. She landed a job as a sports director at Dynamic Cable in Coral Gables Florida while she was a college undergraduate student. Moreover she was employed there during two years between 1984 until 1986. During this period, she also competed in the Miami University's water ski team. After graduating from high school, she moved towards New York City where she attended improv courses at The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and trained in television and film production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts which she graduated from in. The condition she was diagnosed with was aphasia. age 20, a temporary condition that hinders her ability to express and understand language.
