Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik in Iceland. She is a CrossFit pro athlete. She trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the first female who has won at the CrossFit Games twice. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir is a famous Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter and media aficionado. The popular athlete is the first woman who won at the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. In 2013 and 2017 she was awarded both the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents and other siblings. At a young age, Annie was an avid sporting fan, and she loved training. She was awarded numerous medals during school competitions. In 2009 she competed for the first time in a CrossFit competition in California. She performed very good at those events. Annie Thorisdottir's average age is 31 years old (as in 2021). Her height stands at 5'7" and her weight is around 67kg. Annie took up CrossFit in California in the year 2009. She performed well in initial events and finished in top 10 out of 70. But she did not take home any titles and ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen. Annie came in 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. After one year of CrossFit Games she won her very first CrossFit Games. Her impressive performances was enough to earn her the title. In 2012, Annie took home her first CrossFit Games because of her extraordinary performance. She became the first woman to win won two CrossFit Games consecutively. She also won a gold medal. And in 2021, she received a bronze. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. In the last few years, as a well-known athlete Annie has become a celebrity of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance the Nuun Hydration Periodization Sidekick and many others. About a thousand users subscribe to her self-titled Youtube channel where she posts videos for training, family and other videos as well as travel videos.
