Lita Rossana Ford (also also known by the name Lita Ford) is a British born American singer on guitar who took the lead for The Runaways a female hard rock group from the 1970s. The group was admired for their provocative lyrics and punk-inspired fashion. The band was never able to the group to be an instant hit in the United States, but they gained a lot of attention in other countries and in particular Japan. Ford enjoyed a lengthy and prosperous career as a solo performer after the band split up in 1979. After taking voice lessons, she released her debut single album "Out for Blood" followed by "Dancin at the Edge".
